Owner, Anthony Taylor, was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. With 15 years of experience in the food industry as a crew member-turned-manager, Anthony learned the ins and outs of restaurant operations and developed a strong passion for cooking. After making the transition to a completely vegan diet in 2017, Anthony decided to start making his own vegan food and sharing it with friends, family and coworkers. After an overwhelming positive response to his vegan signature empanadas, he started selling them and making deliveries. Anthony started The Plant Palate to challenge himself to show people that your favorite meals can be made vegan without sacrificing rich flavor. The Plant Palate is a vegan food delivery service offering a variety of delicious savory empanadas, side dishes and desserts.
